A paper collage, animated.
My first venture into creating machine learning models, using Runway ML. I trained the model on various collages that I had created previously, and this video was the result. The soundtrack was then added before the final result was posted on Hic Et Nunc.
The previous post, animated into a 1 second “blipvert” with soundtrack. Posted on Hic Et Nunc to explore the possibilities of NFTs.
Almost by accident, I last night worked on a series of digital collages, sketches for the artwork for the forthcoming Operation Mind Control mixtape. The theme is pre-internet conspiracies & misinformation, and have been really struggling to visualise the idea. This is one attempt at that. The full set is on Flickr.
Today’s Happy Half-Hour. The latest 30 minute creative burst involved making a miniature collage and photographing it frame-by-frame. The collage itself is Post-It note size.
The latest 30 minute burst was number 79 on my list (of 126 possible options), to redrawing a previous Half-Hour, another spread for the Built-In Adolescence illustrated lyrics book, originally part of HHH #300.
Something a bit different today. A set of notional 7″ single sleeves for the vintage Chemical Plant track Minimum Custody, which has yet to be actually released. The designs were created using existing images, and are purely sketches at this stage. All created during a 30 minute spurt.
Today’s creative challenge was number 80 on my list (of 126 possible options), to spend 30 minutes redrawing one of my previous Half-Hours, a spread for the Built-In Adolescence illustrated lyrics book, originally part of HHH #229.
Today’s 30 minute creative burst involved paper collages using previous HHH images. These have been scanned and cropped, and planned as sketches for the forthcoming Operation Mind Control cassette cover artwork.
This half hour was spent writing lyrics to this instrumental that I recorded a few years ago. Work in progress…
